- Work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide an Exceptionally Distinctive Guest Experience by Demonstrating genuine hospitality and delivering exceptional guest services in the bar area.
- Bartenders prepare the bar for service and follow strict responsible vending protocols.
- Performs opening, running, and closing side work.
- Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room guests while adhering to all specifications, recipes, and procedures.
- Greets all bar guests immediately, makes beverage suggestions and answers questions regarding food and beverage service.
- Takes, records, and rings all food and beverage items ordered by bar guests. Prepares beverages for the service staff only upon receipt of a computer beverage ticket.
- Observe bar guests to ensure that guests are satisfied with food, beverages, and service; immediately recognize and respond to any guest’s needs and/or requests.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, back bar, bar work areas, shelving, and storage areas up to restaurant standards.
- Adheres to and complies with all state/local liquor laws and restaurant policies regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
- Monitors guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease; notifies management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers.
- Close and clean the bar area properly at the end of the shift and stock as needed.
- Orders, requisitions, and stocks all liquor, beverages and other bar supplies according to procedures established in the restaurant.
- Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures\Assists other Team Members as needed.
- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress and hygiene
- Proven work experience as a professional restaurant staff member.
- Excellent knowledge of serving drinks, upscale foods, extensive wine selection, and professional hospitality
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the restaurant organized, stocked, and clean
- Relevant training certificate
- Have a minimum of 2 years of Restaurant Bartender experience or accredited certification as a Professional Bartender with specialized knowledge of classic and popular mixology selections.
- Stands/walks up to 8 hours per shift.
- Reaches, lifts, and bends, frequently.
- Able to deliver plates, food & clear bars which may require lifting as much as 40lbs.
- Able to change kegs.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to guests.
